Quietly situated on the sunny Ostrau plateau, above Bad Schandau, we offer accommodation for up to 22 people. Whether for a hiking holiday, family outing, or anniversary celebration, the Hillehof provides suitable facilities for every occasion and boasts one of the most beautiful views of the Schrammsteine and Falkenstein rock formations in Saxon Switzerland.

The property offers three separate units, which can also be booked together. Our garden, with its large lawn and mature trees, is ideal for recreational games, barbecues, and social gatherings.

The main part of the listed building houses the country house Hillehof. It offers accommodation for up to 12 people with a common room, veranda kitchen and a 50 m² main terrace.

The holiday apartments Seilschaft and Schwalbennest are located in the side wing and have been extensively renovated by us. Both have new bathrooms and are largely equipped with underfloor heating.

Located in the heart of Saxon Switzerland, the Hillehof offers the ideal starting point for cultural excursions, hiking, climbing, cycling, and paddling trips. The historic passenger elevator is just a few minutes' walk away and takes you to the leisure facilities in Bad Schandau. For a day trip to the Czech Republic, the town of Hřensko can be reached in just 10 minutes by car.

Sustainability and the careful use of resources are our priorities in the renovation and operation of our holiday properties.

  • What amenities do the apartments offer?

    Our accommodations are fully equipped with Wi-Fi, kitchens with modern appliances, individually furnished living areas and private outdoor areas.

  • What activities are possible nearby?

    Numerous hikes are possible directly from the Hillehof. A restaurant is located 50 meters away.

    In Bad Schandau you will find boat tours, bicycle rentals, museums, restaurants, cafés, and shops.

  • Is parking available at the properties?

    Yes, free parking is available on the premises for our guests. Those arriving with an electric vehicle can use our charging station for a fee.

  • What is the check-in and check-out time?

    Check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out is until 11:00 AM.

    Other times are possible by arrangement.

  • Are the properties family-friendly?

    Yes, children are very welcome in our holiday apartments. There are some toys for indoors and outdoors. A highchair or travel cot can be provided upon request.

  • May I bring my dog?

    Yes, dogs are allowed with prior registration.

    The Schwalbennest holiday apartment has a special sleeping nook for dogs under the bed.
